Hi 

I have got a 05 E53 3lt petrol.

just a biz set radio and cd player above it

No phone Bluetooth module unfortunately. Have been told i can get a connector for it.

don't know from where yet

But I've seen sat nav / dvd players with blue tooth and steering wheel connection  from ebay that have the " To Fit E53 " 

Has any body seen / heard about these and is it  worth the gamble.

Or  other options

    My 4.4 had BMW wide screen Nav TV the Nav failed and the radio unit started playing up a new unit was cheaper than repair. Mine needed a long lead to connect to all the stuff in the boot, install was straight forward the radio was a bit flaky in weak signal areas but everything else worked really well. The only stuff I lost was the time etc above the steering wheel. What I got instead was Bluetooth, Ipod connection, TV, Nav with post code search, DVD/CD, and loads more that wasn't there before.

    Dynavin have cracked this I am told but have not seen one installed so cant comment

    I had the exact problem with my car..

    You will need a 5m iso harness adaptor..

    Cable goes from boot area to front of car.. Around £30-£40.
