Hello my name is Paul I Recently bought a 2010 E82 m sport. I was under the impression that all m sport E82 had rear parking sensors. I can't seem to find it. I thought it was one of the buttons to the left of the MSA manual override button but these are blanks. Can anyone help please ?

    I think you only get the button if you have front sensors too.

    You definitely have the rear sensors so they should be working. I believe on the 1 series the PDC unit is prone to water damage and may need to be replaced.

    Have you still got any warranty left on it if you've just bought it? I'd be inclined to let the dealer you bought it from fix it...

    Yes plenty of warranty. Booked in 2/2/16 to be fixed by the main dealer I bought it from. Thankyou for your help. Happy days:wink1:

    Just a quick update. Parking sensor issues being addressed Tues 23.2.16. Booked into BMW Sytner Birmingham. Under Warranty of course. Paul; (E46King) if you read this, I will let you know what the problem was as soon as I get my car back from them.

    Hi again, BMW Sytner have fixed my parking sensors. Apparently the prognosis was a faulty control box. 4.5 hours labour which includes diagnosis and fix. At £150 per hour Labour charge plus the cost of the control module. I LOVE MY WARRANTY. LoL.
