ive had a problem with my 320ci for a few days .first the engine light came on then went off.it came back on and stayed on then I took my kids to school this morning and had the symtems of fuel problems ,spluttering ,low power etc I rang my local garage and booked it in for a diagnostic check when I ran it down there it was back to normal but engine light still on .I had the fault codes readand 4 faults showed up all miss fire codes they cleared all faults and light went off but an hour ago I went out in it and the eml is back on but the car runs fine????? any ideas on whats wrong thanks

    just to add to this post the car has developed the spluttering and low power again but if the engine is turned off and re started it stops for a few miles .....anyone know what is causing this??? thank you

    It could be a number of things, but the codes that the garage cleared should point to the issue. Coil Pack, Cranckshaft Sensor, for a couple of pointers.
