Please help, have this warning light come on at start up of mini clubman D 2010. Can anyone tell me what it is, doesn't make any difference if auto stop/start is switched on or off (not that it works anyway). Not anywhere in manual or internet

    Thank you, had a feeling that is what it may be, but automatic stop start hasn't worked for over a year, just a bit confused as why the warning light has only just come on.

    Is a bit weird its taken that long to realise. Hopefully its a simple fix. How good is the battery? It could be its sensing that its not optimal and as you probably know, if everything isn't running perfectly the system wont work.

    The battery hasn't been changed since the car was new and it has had a period of sitting around and not being driven much so that could be the answer, thank you again. Will get it checked. Would be the simplest solution I am sure.
