Have been lucky enough to have started driving BMWs in my 20s, starting with a 316i, 320i, 323i, 325i, 325i Sport, then I got my first M3 in 1992, an ex demo in Dakar Yellow, yes I know, but when I first saw it, it looked amazing I remember taking it for a blast to the Lakes as soon as I got it, fantastic, kept it for 6 years then I was invited to the unveiling of the R8 at Silverstone...........................and was given a passenger ride in a B7 2007 RS4 Saloon................then given it to drive, OMG, what an experience, what a car, I HAD to have one !!!

Got myself a mint saloon in Daytona Grey, after 3 months of searching, have just sold it after 3 fabulous years of ownership so after a very enjoyable change of badge, I'm looking to get back in the driving seat of a BMW again.

Ideal car, an E92 330i M Sport Coupe in Le Mans Blue with light beige leather interior and a 'must have', electric sunroof. Any car from 2007 with up to 80,000 miles considered.

I have placed a 'Wanted' ad amongst the 3 Series 'For Sale' section of this website.

After looking since December last year I've found the car I've been looking for, a 2008 2 previous owner E92 325i M Sport Coupe auto with only 42k miles in Le Mans Blue with the light grey Dakota leather interior.

All the factory options I was looking for, except, the electric sunroof, like hen's teeth to find !!

LOVE IT and got to say the 3 Series has really moved on and improved dramatically since my last 1992 M3.

Bought it from Mike at Lanmere Motors in Colchester, they only stock the very best examples of Audi BMW, Mercedes and Mini cars with good spec, 1 or 2 previous owners with full service history.

Take a look at their website and see the cars they have for sale and what cars they have sold in the past to see what I mean.

Well done for finding the car you wanted. I know it took me months to find the spec I was after in the right colour. Found mine at Clearwater Automotive near witham on the A12.

Yes, us car nuts are not just looking for a car to 'get me from A to B' I have to have EXACTLY the right car in the right colour with the right interior colour with the exact specification, otherwise you are never happy with the car you are driving and always wishing you had waited to find your PERFECT car, and when you find it, you HAVE to buy it, then you have years of happy motoring ahead of you and not looking at other cars saying to yourself " wish I had bought that "
