Hi, I am new to this forum, but as I am looking to buy a BMW 1 series m sport 3.0 I was wondering if people could tell me what they think about buying this car with 78,000 on the clock? Am I buying a nice reliable car or am I going to be breaking the bank every few months? Here is the add of the car I have put a deposit down on:

    Welcome along Andrew. The car looks nice. Its a lot of power in a small car so it will shift. The engine should be fine as its difficult to thrash one of those without getting locked up or killing yourself. Tax is expensive as are the tyres if they are run flats. Check those for tread, check brake wear and for any noise around the suspension.

    M Sport suspension is jaw breaking,. Fun if your not in the car a lot but if you live in the car its hard to put up with.
