I have a 1 series 120d msport and I think my battery is on its way out. I've been told that I need to replace the battery for a genuine part as a non-gen won't perform after so long and could impact on other systems on the car. Is this true? Has anybody else had this problem. I ask because the battery is over £200. The car also has start stop so I know I need an upgraded battery but £200 is a bit steap I think. Can anyone advise?
