Thanks for having me new to bmw had Audi most of my life but wanted a change could you please tell me what manufacture oil, what spec ie 5/30 etc and the volume of oil. I have a 320d coupe 184bhp 2010 year

a wise choice from an Audi!

best bet for your oil would be , castriol edge 5w 40 mate , i think your car takes 6.5 litres. the service schedule on these is silly usually 15/20k miles for oil change i would deff suggest doing one more frequently than that, once a year / 10k tops (some might say its abit OTT )

With any oil though you want to check it meets "BMW longlife-04" which they normally state on packaging

That's the oil I did use for my Audi 3.0l tdi and done that every 10
