2000 5 Series Touring Rear Wiper Arm Removal?

Hi,

I have a mate who needs to replace the rear wiper arm on a split tailgate touring model. With the unit being placed directly on the rear window I didn't want to risk bodging it, any advice would be welcomed on the correct procedure, thanks.
