hello and I hope this is in the right place

I recently got a 320 2.2 coupe 53 reg auto and after driving it for a few days have noticed that when I dip the accelerator the revs seem to climb high without any real push behind them it seems to go through the gears without searching but no real boost ive never driven one of these cars before and am comparing to a 180k auto box should it be very responsive to the pedal?or is this normal as ive got a 3months warranty with it I want to sort this out asap many thanks jon

Got any techie friends, Jonathan? Sounds a little strange, but not really something we can advise on from a distance, so to speak. I suppose if you just go back, the seller will say, "no, thats absolutely fine, just as it should be", so I think if I was you I'd just pop into my local garage and get a mechanic to drive round the block with you for a straightforward honest opinion. Then if theres a problem evident, go back with confidence to the seller.

very noob question but ...is it possible to see the level of the transmition fluid by dip stick or other on my 320 auto thank you
