Hi all

I will be needing new rear tyres for my car - 245/35/18.

Aswell as me searching around the net is there anybody that knows of any deals etc on at the moment?

I've been told by a garage, that the tyres currently on the car, aren't run flats.

Would you recommend replacing with RF's??

Theres deals on all the time Stu. I don't particularly like them, but Bathwick are usually best on prices.

You will open a can of worms on the issue of run flats, one person in particular on here will be grinning all over his Cheshire Cat face when he replies. The general consensus is....................rip off, con., thieving !Removed!, and other things even ruder. No mate, ruin handling, ridiculously more expensive, how many times in your driving life have you actually been stranded by a puncture? Remember, there are quite a few new cars now that do not even carry a spare at all, but are supplied with the little "seal and pump up" kit to plug into the cig lighter. (I'm biased, of course, because thats all I have in my car 95% of the time, I only carry a proper spare if I'm going away for a few days/weeks.) So in my view, that negates the need for run flats on its own.
