Adding Bluetooth?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I bought a 2011 116d. I thought the idrive system had full Bluetooth connectivity and hands free. Turns out I was wrong..

Is there any way of adding the Bluetooth function to the idrive system via an update!?

Any suggestions??

BT module resides in the boot area with rest of audio modules... Ebay !

You might have to explain that in simple terms. I'm very much new to this. Thanks

He meant: the Bluetooth module (device) will be in the boot (trunk) along with the audio system (that you might have). But the Bluetooth connectivity depends on the phone you are using. If it's an idrive, iphone connectivity will be OK but android phone will not work. Try it with both phones.
