Howdy,

Picked up this car today and will be using it as my daily.

I put a CD-R in the magazine, it finds the CD and it says 1-01, but nothing plays. I can skip tracks, nothing plays, I switch back to radio so its not muted or anything.

Does it read MP3 format?

Edit: It doesn't play 'real' CD's either, or a WAV formatted CD.

Not sure which HU you have but it would show "Can't read" or "No CD" if the disc was the problem ;)

I Didn't think this unit or CDC can read this format. :-(

Hey Sam.

I had the same problem with my 7. It turned out that ONE button on the head unit decided whether it would play or not. Can't remember what button it was but I often accidentally hit it with my hand disabling the audio from the CD changer in the back. Have a good scope around the head unit and just.... hit buttons!!
