Hi all, I have just bought my first bmw and was wondering what you all might think. The car is a 2003 316 ti it has service history up to 10000 miles ago and a full mot. It has 134000 miles which i know is a bit high but it drives well i think it is a lovely car, I am a competent home mechanic and was hoping to be able to keep this car running for a couple of years to come without huge costs as finances are tight, i am a bit concerned about some of more complex systems such as valvetronic and special tools for some jobs do you think it is possible to run fairly cheaply or am i heading for financial meltdown. Purchase price was 900 pounds.

Cheers Simon.post-7661-0-56245300-1386925707_thumb.jp
