Hello from Key West, new to your site our thanks to your staff. After years of being Benzers, we were on our way to Miami to buy a M class for my wife....fast forward, we stopped at our local dealership, not BMW and fell in love with a 08 X3. WOW, after just one week of driving her Bimmer.....I had to have one, after searching for weeks I found a 08 328i at a BMW dealership on the Mainland and it was a CPO with new run flats and matching color and trim to her X. I love it, blows my Kompressor away...gave it to our son. I am hooked, no, we are hooked. AMAZING

The Problem? The red bulb on the rearview mirror that flashes when she locks her car, is missing on my car, I lock it, no flash. I called my salesman, keep in mind I am 125 from Mainland and 160 from him but I want it right and I want that to deter the scum. He says it is only to let crook know there is NO key.What? So exactly what is it? Why is it not flashing? Wonder why the red doo hickey is missing?

Any help or advice for new converts is greatly needed. Thanks for providing this great forum

The salesman is a t###t. However the mirrors with the light are cheap enough on eBay if you want one.
