Hi, Recently purchased a Mini Convertible (2004) amd looking to purchase an outdoor cover - does anyone have any recommendations or comments please.

    I have a Calssic Mini and wanted to buy a cover for her. I was advised that unless you willing to spend some good money on one then to leave it. In the wind the flapping about ect. can damage/scratch the paint work. So personally I would leave it.

    But that being said you have a convertible and I assume you want a cover to protect that? In my personal opinion I wouldn't get one but instead just look after the roof material for example don't put the roof down if the material is wet or damp as it can shrink then rip when you put it back up. Keep it clean, there are products you can buy to help protection. Little things like that you want to keep in mind.

    Hope this helps, I'm sure there are others with different opinions on here.

    I decided to get my roof professionally cleaned and then treated, rather than buy a cover. I was amazed at the difference in the roof!
