i reckon you could get more power by wrapping you manifold in exhaust bandage, its been done on motorbikes before easy or not to do just ideas.

Explain theory please

by wrapping your exhaust manifold you will keep more heat out of the engine bay also creating better gas flow so the engine will run and perform better meaning more bhp

The theory is sound, alot of Jap cars heat wrap the headers/mainifolds to keep engine bay temps down so the engine is kept at optimum tepm and produces as much power as it should.

Looks a mess though but it it is a fact guys !

The easiest way by far is to use shielding/deflector-plates to guide (or steer) the hot air away from the engine...

might look a mess if you could see it and get to it which to me looks like hard work but i think for 20 quid you could achieve 10 bhp

Headers usually get heat wraped when new before they go on the the car so if you were intending on wrapping the OEM header you would need to remove it first.

Might beworth 2-3bhp on an unmapped car but more like 5-7bhp when remapped.
