Hi guys im new to the forum. Ive joined to try and get some insight into some issues that I have. Ive just bought a 2004 X5 and the heated seats dont work. When switched on the button lights up then goes straight out. Its the same for both driver and passenger seats. Could this be the elements or maybe a fuse?

    Just looked into it, it says if the light comes on and goes out after a couple of seconds its pointing to heating elements being faulty.

    But I find this a bit odd on both seats

    I thought it might be the elements. The light goes out pretty much straight away. Not sure how long they've been faulty for as ive only had the car a week!
