  1. A remap would give you what you're after, smoother throttle response etc. My personal experience of induction kits on previous cars is that you end up with an angrier car if anything?
  2. You'd probably get better gains from a remap? Unless you're buying an expensive induction kit you would be looking at minimal bhp gains
  3. Any advance on this mate? I am interested if you had any luck. Pics?
  4. Anyone?? Would be good to get a heads up if anyone has this fitted? Cheers guys
  5. Looking for ANY BMW Performance parts for my existing E91 project. Steering wheel and seats are the holy grail, also looking for any interior goodies from said catalogue, also strut brace would be great. If anyone has anything relevant that they are looking to shift, give me a shout. Copey
  6. Easy swap buddy, my E91 runs 18's as standard so it shouldn't be a problem at all. www.mstyle.co.uk is good. Copey
  7. Gents, Can anyone recommend a decent front splitter for a 2010 LCI M Sport E91 Touring? Looking to get the ball rolling with some mods on my baby. Lowering springs and wheel spacers on order, and looking for a front splitter, undecided on whether to go for a complete splitter or corner splitters but looking to keep things as OEM looking as possible. Any help as always is greatly appreciated. Copey
  8. My old man was the reason for me. In my lifetime he's had an E21, several E30's including an M3, E36 M3, E60 M5, a short lived E53 X5 and currently an F10 535I. So you could say it runs in the blood!
  9. According to my research, fitting the lower control arm from the M3 would erradicate the outer tyre wear i'm experiencing. Do you know diiferent mate? Any help on this is much appreciated. Copey
  10. Evening folks, I am looking into upgrading to an M3 lower control arm to combat the horrendous front (outer) tire wear on my 318D M Sport Business Edition (Touring) but I am struggling to find the part for the 318D variant. Is this yet another part that I want which is only available for 330i, 330D etc? Really hope not. Copey
  11. Alright guys and girls, Having enjoyed the first few months of BMW ownership (E91 318D M Sport Business Edition) immensely, I have noticed a horrendous wear on my front tyres outer edges. After much reading up I have found that the best solution appears to be an upgrade to the M3 lower control arm, which apparently also hugely improves handling. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in trying to help set up a group buy for this very worthwhile upgrade? Cheers Copey
  12. Welcome buddy. 36000 is awesome for a car of that age mate, what a motor you got there.
  13. I'm in Fife. Willing to travel
  14. What forum mate? A few of us are looking to get involved.
  15. Anyone who has been on here for a while willing to take the reigns? Central Scotland seems fair in my opinion, accessible for everyone?
  16. To whom it may concern Any chance of a pair of stickers? I will of course be willing to cover any costs. Copey

  18. Ladies and gents, As a fairly new member, and also being new to the marque, I would be very interested in any meets with other members in Scotland. A chat and/or drive with fellow members would be great. I am aware of a previous attempt by Amy1coupe to organise a meet, did this take off? I am not in any way putting myself forward as the man to organise this lol (i am new after all) but I would be willing to help get this off the ground? Any takers folks? Surely this is a big part of why we all joined this club? I attended many meets with fellow owners of my previous car owners club, which were always enjoyable affairs. Also just good to talk and compare notes and gripes etc (of which their were a few with my previous motor lol) Hopefully we can get some chat going, and get this off the ground? Feel free to get me on here or on Facebook, Paul Copeland from Glenrothes. Amy1coupe, if you fancy trying again gimme a shout and i'll see if I can give you a hand? Cheers Copey

  20. Does anyone have any experience (good or bad) with the above product? Seriously looking into it for my e91 Touring?
  21. Haha brilliant! Not exactly a computer whizz lol
  22. Hi guys, Thursday is going to be a very happy day in my life, as i collect my first ever BMW!! It's a 2010 318D M Sport Touring Business Edition in Space Grey, i literally can't wait!! Having grown up in numerous BMW's ( my old man was a bit of a BMW nut ), i always knew i would own one at some point, i always just wanted to wait for the right one and obviously to be in a financial position to get one of the right spec. Apologies for no pics of my own at this stage ( expect many on Thursday when i get it home ) but if you are interested in having a look at the car feel free to follow the link and give me your thoughts. http://www.allianceprestige.co.uk/cars-in-stock.asp Early modifications planned are Eibach Pro springs, wheel spacers ( 10mm front and 20mm rear ), and a pair of fully black kidney grilles. Should have these done within a month or two. By the end of the year i am looking to have TV/DVD on the move activation, as car has CIC iDrive, and a Jehnert Flatline speaker system. Also considering a Spec Dock for the ashtray. I would be interested in hearing about any potential meets in Scotland with fellow owners, or even just a chat with anyone in Scotland with a passion for a BMW. Cheers guys Copey
