Can´t help you with SE and Msport, but if you go into black leather trim, don´t forget to order aktive ventilation for your seats. Costs a bit, but is worth plenty.

Hi there, the car is near new and the other day I´ve noticed a slight vibration coming through the pedals. It tends to come and go. Any ideas? Will definitely contact the dealer, but in the meantime just been wondering, if anyone´ve had the similar problém or know, what may cause it..

X5 with M sport packet sits in my garage since 29 July. No drama with getting in or out. Side pods not sticking out and the fact, the car sits 15mm lower than stock, obviously makes a difference.

X5 xDrive40d delivered on 29/08/2014. White and beautiful and with functioning folding ext. mirrors. What a relief! (Have a very narrow garage) Well, it would probably make it even without folding, although it would be a near miss situation every time I use the car.

Hi Ian, with M sport you can´t fit side steps, I´m sure. Don´t know about the mud flaps. Most probably not. Before I have ordered my X5 I checked the steps, but they are pretty awkward to use. Almost as bad as no steps at all. They actually stick out from the car more than side pods. And then again, you can´t get them with M sport package anyway and I would rather have the M sport pack. Been thinking of some home made improvement to assist with the climb into the cabin. Once I have the car sitting in my garage, I give it a serious thought.

Thank´s mate, I´m lucky. I have included an advantage package with my X5 order and the above option is apparantely part of that package.............(according to the local dealer).

X5 F15 Exterior mirrors - folding auto-dimming, after a very time consuming extensive search the option discovered under optional equipment - exterior equipment.........so no more worries...........

Well as far as the option for fold-in mirrors for X5, there´s no option listed in the options list..............so if no fold-in mirrors in standard offering, then simply a bad luck.......I think.......

Well, I suspect that a righthand drive market could be in some difficulties as far as a delivery game is concered.........I´m currently evaluating a head-up display option.......anyone with experience?

Anyone with experience on the topic? Have heard the stories of an excessive consuption.

Hi there. Have a new X5 on order. Think, you maybe right about folding electrical exterior mirrors. There´s no mention of it anywhere on the sales pages. And yes, I agree, that´s an inexcusable omission on the part of BMW. Particularly on the wide car like X5. Hope, someone from BMW is reading this and either proves us wrong or will take the necessary steps to correct this anomaly.
