Cheers mate I have some on order to collect Friday Someone mentioned about needing a fan removal tool or can it be done without the removal tool ?? Done a fair few over the years but never on a bmw lol

Hi all on the look out for an induction kit or cone type air filter for my 530i Can't afford to pay the earth but would like something so that I can hear that 3.0 straight six come to life Also any back box ideas ??? Anyone got any pics of set ups on the 530i or similar??? If anyone has links etc that would be brill Thanks in advance .sam.

Hi all I own a Bmw e39 530i Now I only had it a couple of days but noticed an annoying chirping sound, it's not a really loud noise but it's annoying Upon further looking I saw my belt was in this state Can any one point me in direction of what part I need and a how to on changing said belt Thanks

Managed to apply polish today on a polishing machine and hand buffed it off and don't the wheels and this it the result. Cheers mate I shall have a look at next chance I get (weather depending haha) and shall update if fine anything :) And yes I am really enjoying it If I crawl slow as a snail over the speed hump it don't make the clonk click noise it's only when go over any faster then crawling speed

When go over a speed hump (narrow tallish one) when the rear wheels go up and drop down other side there is a loud sharp click type noise from the rear also happened when reversing off drive at an angle and rear wheels where at different angles Any ideas ??? Just been moted aswell!? Cheers

Not very clouded up on bmw's I can do odd mechanical jobs and bit etc but not sure where to look there Obviously I know near the diff lol

Not a lot of plans as such apart to enjoy it Perhaps Cold air induction kit and upgrade all bulbs inside to led Possibly a nice subtle back box (nothing loud just want a nice burble) Replace all the obc etc as pixels started to die And there is one thing few of you might be able to help with: When go over a speed hump (narrow tallish one) when the rear wheels go up and drop down other side there is a loud sharp click type noise from the rear also happened when reversing off drive at an angle and rear wheels where at different angles Any ideas???? Cheers It's very very clean under bonnet never seen one so clean myself! It has full bmw history and rear seats look as if never been sat in! Very happy with it :)

Well after having a break after my bmw 528i I went and brought this today: BMW E39 530i M-Sport 143000 miles Full bmw service history 12 months mot 2 months tax AND I !Removed! LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! Here's some pics Hope you all like comments welcome good or bad Thanks .sam.

Well came out this morning and checked water level and it was roght down again so again i have topped it back up! Cant see any leaks and temp gauge sat where it should etc whats going on???? Dont wana go chucking money at something if she going to die!??

Heaters are amazing red hot and temp gauge ain't moved from half since topping it up get no puddles of lack of power or anything

Cheers daisy will check again when drive it in the morning and update here. Think it's just when I brake but will let you know

Hi all i have had my e39 528i for about 2 weeks now I just checked all tge fluid levels as i do every couple of weeks and noticed the water/coolant level was right down so i looked in the manual and it said top it up till the red fliat stick is level with filler cap Now the problem there is no float stick so i just topped it up to about 3/4 the way up the tank Is there a y common problems on the 528i e39 that cause water loss or could it just be its been low.for a while and noone ever checked it before????? Temp gauge does not move past half way even after a blast on motorway she stays at a constant temp Any ideas?????? Thanks
