Hi and welcome to the club Mike. Good luck with your search for the M5, let's have some pictures when you have got it ;-)

I always buy 12 months as it works out cheaper. My tax is due end of the month a whopping £285 which I could have done without. :( :(
I get 12 months for both motors but try to make sure they're not in the same month. Costly business, M3 £500 XJS £230. I'm lucky really my wife sorts her own. Ha ha

Hi and welcome to both Karen and John, how about some pictures of both the Z car and the Mini please ;-)

Resistors are generally colour coded so replacement is generally a like for like swop.

That's true, but you'll get a nagging 'cos you're ignoring calls. The question will be 'why did you waste the money on that thing, you don't even answer'
I've been there I know ha ha

Congratulations, but now you'll get no peace from 'her in doors' when you just pop out for a quickie drive lol

Hi Kane,
Resistors determine the flow of current in an electrical circuit. Where there is high resistance in a circuit the flow of current is small, where the resistance is low the flow of current is large. Resistance, voltage and current are connected in an electrical circuit by Ohm’s Law.
Can't help with the other part of your question, sorry.

Welcome Jason, it's your club too, now. Best you get some pictures of both of them posted ;-)

Hi and welcome to the club Ben, we would all like to see your 318ti when you get an opportunity ;-)

Hi and welcome to the club Dan, very smart looking BMer. Look forward to seeing the progress of your 'personal stamp' ;-)

Welcome to the club Jack, can we have some pictures please ;-)

Hi Colin, welcome to the club. Don't let your 'wife, GF or partner' sit in the car, that may ease your squealing issue!!!
Have you considered the fan belt? It may be loose/worn etc.

It's a starting point and sounds fine, now start looking and comparing, don't rush there are plenty about ;-)

Welcome aboard Sean, I had a 120d M Sport and thought it was outstanding but the M3 is something very special.
This might help.

Hi Bruce welcome to the club. Post some pictures of your trusty steed when you get a moment. I'm a boy racer with a grown up attitude so you never get told old to be a boy racer at heart. It's all a mind thing. Enjoy your car to the max ;-)

Hi Graham, welcome to the club. I've run and owned a 520d M Sport in the past and found it a superb machine. You can tell your missus from me it's a far better car than an Audi, well done. Incidentally what did you have to concede too? ;-)
