This is a true story.... i was in my garden detailing my reliant robin when all of a sudden a big beam of light shone down on me with angels singing in my ears this big face appeared with a long beard and hair of gold, he handed me a stone tablet carved into it was the words " you must buy a BMW" with this he told me " go forth young man and do as i wish, this is the word of god" so i read the message on the tablet and on the bottom it said " this message will self destruct in 10 secs" with that it did..... that is what i told my missus...........

Got MKIII, sat nav in beemer, used for first time other day and was good, other than that i have a garmin, which the missus uses but sally on the sat nav only speaks when she wants.....typical really ( think her on the sat nav does nt know where she is going really so shuts up not to emmbarress herself, other people call it a fault but i know the truth)

had sky for 20 years now, but does !Removed! me off when they do all these offers for new customers and nothing for existing apart from up the price.... another thing thats given me the hump is that F1 is on sky and gonna cost me 20 quid a month to get it as you ave to suscrib to the full sports package even tho F1 ha its own channel, was kinda hoping i could just get the channel but nooooooooooo..... just have to sell one of the kids but which one?

How would i know if i have xenons? looked all over the headlamps yesterday and nothing saying xenon or halageon.... Its a 2001 728i Sport, now some sites say all 7s after 2000 came with xenons as standard but just wondered if there was a way of telling physically... i know xenons are a whiter light but to be honest treid that last night and was nt so obvious.....Cheers Chaps

Welcome Mate, I had a 530d MTech sport on a 05 plate, Jet Black with M5 bodykit and alloys, Chipped.....this was the days before my business went !Removed! up..........have to say an awesome car and the torque was incredible, shamed quite a few sports cars init.....think its 0 to 60 was bang on 6 secs but its mid range was awesome.....would have left my 330conv sport for dust..plus they dont sound anyhing like a deisel..... lovely car mate

Cheers Mate, cleaned engine bay today but was already spotless, polished alloys and sealed them, hen fitted new bmw hub cap centres so almost looking like new...... gotto stop looking at ebay tho... keep finding new bits to get. Tommorrow will be a polish and seal, fit new wiper blades and replace a couple of bulbs, then should be mint.

Welcome Kat, exactly the same here, Love BMWs and dream car has to be Elenanor in Gone in sixty seconds which in the film is said to be a GT 500 but is actually a GT350 Shelby Mustang with a body kit upgrade, other than that i think i could put up with a 1967 427 Sheby Cobra, think i might have to win the lottery first. Also would nt mind a dodge super charger.

Hope so mate, giventhe interior a buff up and treated the leather, plus had a lil spend up on the bay of e, got new wheel caps, bonnet and boot badges as old ones bit tired so hopefully look even better then just got to do the paint on the roof and get few chips done and should look like new. And better get my V70R back road worthy to sell as this was the condition with the missus.......
