  4. Got a TV in my one, works ok but does depend on where i am, where i live i get avery fuzzy pic but when i took my football i got all channels and crystal clear pic, so with mine it just depends where you are, my mates ones are the same and as far as i am aware they have nt been upgraded... but like Dabsy says you can get upgrades on ebay for £50-£80 with freeview and look easy enough to install.....

I walk away from my BM every night when i get home.... so arriving somewhere does it for me
  6. I have 4 year old twin boys so anything by the teletubbies, disney channel greatest hits, or Dora the explorer at glastonbury......This is my excuse and im sticking by it :)
  7. Really wanted the next number but......499
  8. No prob James....but do a google search on the 320d using model number ie my 7 is a e38, so seach for bmw E** problems or buyers guide etc i did this on the 7 and found some sites that are totally technical and had buyers guide on what to watch out for..............
  9. Cheers Ian, yeah it is a strange colour, have seen it on 3 series quite a lot but not on a 7 ( steel blue) Also she is nt in bad nick at all, got a few spots here and there but thats why got her cheap, plus got a mate who owes afavour who sprays cars, but just polished her up and guarded the paint and she comes up almost like new.... well pleased
  10. 495...and no longer a newbie...stop posting now lol
  11. Not to sure about 320d s but look at the usual things, like it having full service history mainly BM, low miles, low owners, check the car for wear and tear ie seats and steering wheel are always a good sign, check body panels are straight and no signs of a shunt, check engine bay for signs of leaks, also undo oil cap and look to see if it has cream under it ( sign of a head gasket) once running check exhaust for blue smoke etc and if can take for a nice long test drive to see how it feels but to be honest if it has been serviced regulary not a lot goes wrong with BMs, also do a google search for common problems with BMW 320d and have a look on ebay, they have classifeids and i have just got my 7 from there and it is absolutely mint.....
  12. Welcome Mate
  13. I have been driving for 20 years now and have owned over 60 cars, so my guess would be ...........not very long....LOL
  14. Cheers Steve, i had heard that as well.....to be honest tho will just have to get off my ##### and get the bulb out.....
  15. love marmite..... but hate the new mini as it doesnt spread very nice on toast and has a sort of metally taste to it.... plus !Removed! expensive for breakfast........
  16. Only ever go in there now to get parts i cant get elsewhere..... either do bits myself or have a mate who is a good mechanic, who can stamp the book..... but when i had a new BMW would only use BM then.... but have been attempted ripped off by them, but luckily know a lil bit about cars so stopped them in there tracks......... but at least bmw have the courtesy to grease you up before penetration....
  17. Would have to agree with snypa.... has to be Elenor from gone in sixty seconds....as not there tho voted for the General Lee from the dukes of hazzard... always loved that car... i mean its horn plays a tune FFS.....and it jumps really high without buckling or bending....but a close second to elenor is the dodge charger dragster in the first Fast and Furious that vin deisel races at the end with the copper across the railway track.....just would love to have a car that wheelies when it pulls away from traffic lights....
  18. I always have intentions to get 12 months but then end up getting 6 months because i see something i want to buy withe the extra money for the 12 months........Apparrently the higher rate tax rules applies to any vehicle built after 30th march 2001 ( found this out in an ebay ad for a car i was looking at) and mine was built..................Feb 2001..............but have since found out ( after taxing mine) built really means when first registered and mine is................20th April 2001......Typical.....
  19. Cheers Dabsy, think thats what i am going to have to do..... was just being lazy LOL
  20. Take out the bulb, would guess its a festoon ( torpedo shape) on the side of it on the metal should have 12v 10w/5w etc, measure it lenghth wise, look on ebay under festoon bulbs and they will have all sorts on there that will do it as they go by length and wattage, if its the normal shape just look under number plate bulbs ( on both could even put in BMW E36) and also jst look at metal part of bulb for wattage, i just got 2 for my car, arrived in 3 days and cost £2.00...

Always used Auto glym but also Mer is really good... been polishing the BM but done my back in... so have been doing it for 3 days now and still have the doors, wings and qurters to do....one of the best products auto glym have is alloy wheel seal.. basically clean and polish the alloys then spray this seal on them, wipe it in and buff....And then it leaves a film on the wheels that stops brake dust etc getting into the alloy, so when you wash all the crap just wipes off........
