snapped spring? happened to me once in the meg, found the snapped bit on my drive lol gave me a excuse to lower it ;)
  8. ive got a 318 and a saxo, the saxo only goes on the track ;) as gav said ive also come from some other french crap, (megane) and id say parts arent that much differant. my bmw has 117k on the clock and feels really strong, i reckon another 117k will easily happen, my megane was struggling after 60k! BMW all the way :D
  9. thing is i could get in my megane ok, bas%rd wouldnt start
  10. is that a evo and subaru vent??
  11. fuks sake gav, it aint finished! can clearly see that
  12. easiest way to do it is start off with your lighest (least cut) polish and pad, and work your way up if need be. im a big fan of 3M fast cut plus, farecla is ok but its so messy. ive used others to but always like to go back to 3M
  13. it aint to hard tbh, most people tend to be watching the machine and not the paint there doing!
  14. im hoping to do mobile detail work soon gav, just put it all in the back of my bmw lol, could always do a road trip to yours B)
  15. OUCH!!! indeed! thats beyond a joke
  16. lol, you got a ramp there to use? my old place had about 30 ramps!! wasnt allowed to use them!! not evan in our own time!!! use to sneak them in on bank hols, weekends etc though  think next on my list to do is change spark plugs, air filter looks brand new so thats ok for now. still need to do a full detail on it but other people want theres doing!! ;) four this year already! :D might be doing the full works on a X5 soon to, fella is selling it so wants it minting. il do a full write up on it, as long as he gives me permision to use pics B)
  17. the general rule is as long as you have matching tyres on each axle so to say your fine, so having different tyres on the back two to the front should be fine. only thing with the foam stuff as well is , once used the tyre is scrap(are so ive been told) im not sure about BMW going to normal tyres again , although it wouldnt surprise me as there not very good ive been told.
  18. another little update of my bmw, battery was goosed! still has a bmw one in so prob been in the car since new, 13 years!! any way, halfords own brand go for around £90, bosch ones are around £120!! evan costco want £100 for a bosch one. speak to my mechanic mate, pops to his supplier on his break, £45 later and i have a new battery :D with a 2 year warrenty to (others were 3 years) cant argue with that at all. B)
  19. yes you can, lots of people do this due to the harsh ride. only downside is do you have a spare tyre? might be worth getting one if you dont.

hia deano, welcome to the club some exciting new changes coming to the forum to B)
  21. im still fairly new to cleaning leather the correct way so have only used one system. using a leather brush( i have two but one i think is to harsh for leather! one i like is by swissvax) for cleaning ive been using sonus leather cleaner, give it a rub in with the brush then wipe off with a clean microfibre. leave to dry for half hour to a hour then use the conditioner. worked well enough but i will try others one day B)
  22. id say mines more blue, must just be the pics then . dont think ive got a interior pic of mine. hopefully doing a full detail this week though so il get some, interior has already been done B) fully cleaned the leather then fed with a conditioner. new mats are in to. shes slowly getting there needs a new battery though
