  1. Cleaned the engine prior to having swirl flaps removed, nice to see all the great gear that hides under the plastic cover. Great Job, then washed it and of course it's thrown it down ever since :D

Hi, Sorry if this has already been answered, I've not read all the replies to your question but I had a similar question when I took delivery of my E61 LCI and not even the main dealer could tell me. With mine, bi xenon, they turned out to be turn lights that operate (Single light depending on the direction of corner) taking hairpins below a certain speed and also when indicating at low speed. They work great, very common on cars in Europe. Hope this helps!
