today i gave me rear pipes a referb easy half hour job with great results

They look good mate luckily my nephew owns a spray shop so he did mine free but would of charged about £40 to a customer

Dont get me wrong I always make sure I have proper mot as my car carries my family but even new mots can be moody small garages can issue them without actualy doing the test and charge about £70

I think from safety point of view the mot is a waist of time when buying a car you never know if it's a real one most people know someone that knows someone that can get a moody one unless you get it done yourself at a garage you can trust

I had this prob with a car a few years ago turned out to be a split in the pipe that fed the rear window wash it traveled under carpet in centre console
