  8. The 80,000 mile is when you will need to look at all the rubber bushes this is there lifespan

  10. I had all bushes that needed changing change which was most of them lot of labour involved on rear
  11. Have a look through my earlier post judder is back this is covered there
  12. Both sound like you got the same problem I just had mine done all bushes and sway arm replaced cost me about £1,500 but worth every penny it drives like it did when came out the factory

Hi mate if there was a problem with gear box that was makeing the car shake you would have a warning light on saying gearbox fault if it's more of a judder and car has done over 80,000 miles then it's a good chance it bushes that need changing rear sub frame and front swayarm bushes when worn will cause judder on putting foot down

  15. I hear what your saying I have owned the following 4x4s Range rover vouge p38 4.6 Grand jeep Cherokee 4.0 Ford explorer 4.0 Ford excursion 5.4 Pajero 3.5 And the x5 4.6 and have to say I like the BMW the most out of the lot !!!

  19. If you have put a 285 tyre in a wheel that is made for a 225 tyre it could cause it to wonder
  20. Now I'm more confused what size were on the car front and back and what size are on now :-)
  21. Hi mate when I was considering changing my factory fitted 20" wheels for 22" the guys at my local BMW garage did say it would affect the handling of the car so incorrect tyre size could cause this but I'm no expert I'm sure one of the lads on here will be more help
