Welcome Colin, If you go to Kwik-Fit site or something similar, put your reg plate in, it will tell you what tyres your model uses, Has the car been in an accident and the o/s rear bodywork is slightly damage, if it is only side that is where the problem needs to be located, hopefully someone might be able to give you better advice, good luck with resolving the problem, enjoy the forum.

Hi Lee, Possibly the new motor is for a later model, hence why the colour coding changed, you could ask local BMW service centre or try an auto electrician, unless someone else has the answer, good luck. Alan
