£1000 Bill, Still Faulty!!

Recommended Posts

Hello peeps,

Haven't been for a while, I've had a daughter since ( our 1st) since I was last on here.

Before, I was having a problem with limiting revs/top speed. Turned out it was a blocked cat, the garaged jet washed loads of black crud out (as recommended by bmw).

Now recently the car has been juddering when driving at a constant speed ( air maff and smooth running controller fault codes found). Garage and others recommended replacing 4x injectors (old ones were tested, all show a similar low pressure).

Injectors were replaced and found out today it hasn't worked, with the work that has already been carried out (clean egr) including parts it's cost me just over £1000! ( intectors £170 each + vat x4).

They are still getting 4B10 fault code (smooth running controller).

I'm stuck offshore for the next 2 weeks but my mrs is stuck without a car so any help or guidance would be gratefully received.

Thanks for reading

Ross.
