When pulling away in any gear car feels like being starved of fuel, same happens when hard excellerating then seems to clear ,trouble is this only happens now and again also happens when slowing down using 2nd to 1st feels like its stalling, when putting foot down ?

    You suggest "starvation" of fuel - This "could" be a fuel-pump issue or even the pressure regulator BUT...

    Take out a spark-plug or three and examine their condition - lack of fuel (LEAN) gives whitish deposits or ceramic damage, whilst sooty/oiled depicts over-fuelling or lack of air...

    I'm sure many will agree its time to clean her out ! ICV, Throttle-body and the other usual suspects etc ;)
