took battery off e46 318i saloon 1998 to charge it up forgot about boot and closed it now cant get in to put battery back as i dont have a key for boot as it came form scarpyard with out i no what a idot please help :mellow:

There is a battery point under the bonnet on the drivers side, look for a plastic cap with a + sign on

it, if you have jump leads the rest is straight forward.

very true only got a battery booster pack will give that a go
