Thanks all for the warm welcome. Picked the car up mon night, been told that i needed a rear wheel bearing for the mot, so orgnised it to go straight to the local garage for the work and the mot ( I work there part time so i would do the work and put it through the garage for the mot). The fuel gauge was reading half tank bonus i thought no need for fuel. Well i get 2.2 miles (said so on trip lol) and yes i brake down..........

So 2 hours get recoverd (AA) back to the house, here we go have a bought a nakered one. so next day set about working out whats up, Felt like fuel stavation, blocked fuel line, filter pump? start at the pump (easy access under the seat, two covers took them both off finding one side the wires had parted company with the conector.

lol sorted i thought remade conections, try car again.... nothing bugger. Right i will pull the pipe and see if fuel coming out, nothing dam. Right i will remomove the the offending unit icase pump knackerd or blocked filter on the end. So remove it and gues what it the sender not the pump doh........ so while its out look in to the tank and guess what .......

No fuel F***&$$$^&**&^^&& (bad words) So put in fuel, put sender back in, turn the engine, 6 turns later it fires look down at the fuel guage its on the red.

lol so a good start here then.... so just central locking and alarm to sort out and lots of daft bits, but looks like i will have to go to bmw for the alarm sender as did not come with the car.....Dam.
