Need Help ! , working on 2008 M6 coupe , removed interior door panels and exterior handles ,

strapped drivers door shut to engage soft close , vehicle sat overnite ,battery died , jumpstarted ,

observed driver door won't open from interior or exterior handle , good news is interior panel is still off ,

checked all sofft close servo fuses and body control module cicuit fuses : all okay , Any ideas

how to open door and what is causing problem ?

have you taken the lock out?

the lock you may need to turn the key further than normal.. just a guess

haven't removed the lock lock cylinder yet , after removing the exterior handle and lock cover

does it just pull out ?

Try turning the key an extra 90degs, deadlocks may be on !! Otherwise it could be a seized catch or dislodged rod...
