Hi there very good car. I had a z3 2.8 favourite Car of mine. You can put a 2.5 inlet on the car and it gives you a few more ponys for your buck quite a cheap mod. I'm not sure if anyone has done a how to manual for this but I'm sure someone has done it.

Absolutely beautiful motor buddy :) I would love a Z3 myself...

Just to keep you in the know, BMW don't make 2.3 litre engines. you will be pleased to know that your car has a 2.5 litre powerplant under the bonnet (Confusing, I know). There is indeed a popular modification you can do to the intake manifold as pointed out by James if you are serious about squeezing a bit more juice from your engine. Let us know if that interests you.

Until than, GET SOME PICS UP!!

Daz

*Edit* Well. BMW did make 4-cylinder 2.3 engines back in the 80's but that's for a whole new topic :)

323i has a 6 cylinder 2.5 my friend

BMW re-branded the 325 as the 323 to introduce an engine-generation change (M50 to the M52)

The E36 323i and the E39 523i both have 6 cylinder engines displacing 2.5.

BMW Love inconsistency with their badges. The new 116d is a 2 litre! LOL

i think you will find that the e21 323i had a 2.3 litre six, i had one in the 80's and was a lovely little pocket rocket.

That is why I said " BMW did make 4-cylinder 2.3 engines back in the 80's but that's for a whole new topic"

Emphasis on the 80's. The 4 cylinder part was referring to the first E30 M3 2.3ltr
