Can anyone out there give me any information on re- mapping the M60 4ltr V8. Not sure if my car has an OSB port to plug into 1995 model,if not will it need a chip change !. Also i have read that the power figure will go from 286bhp upto 306bhp with torque upto 440 a gain of 40. Have any 8 series owners out that had this done and if so are the power gains noticeable. any info will be welcomed.

Also any recomendations in the yorkshire area for re-mapping.

I have had my 6 series remapped, and i would seriously give AMD in Lakeside Essex. They done the work on mine and the power gains where good. They are currently racing in the BTCC and really know there stuff. I know you are quiet a distance from you but give them a look if you want a top job done!

Id give Evolve Automotive a call,they are nationwide remappers and BMW specialists....they did mine :)

Dave, what kind of power increase did you get from yours??

Well my 323 (2.5l) was 170bhp from factory,its 14yrs old so you can easily knock 10bhp off that,i added an induction kit on it and a s/steel race decat exhaust and s/steel manifold and its been remapped at 200+bhp and 200+lbs torque (more than a 328) :) and when I get the m50 inlet and BBTBs done it should add another 15-30bhp :)

Mate proper impressive! (pretty glad I didn try and race you at pod haha). Was thinking of gettin mine done by evolve because I've heard nothing but good things. Have you had any probs since it was done??
