My 520i 1998 s reg has a problem and i wonder if anyone can help?

The battery warning light keeps coming on and now the ASC light is on as well as the ABS light, and airbag, plus the headlights are very dim.

Could it just be the battery? or is the Alternator/v-belt?

    With the batt. warming light and dim headlights I wud have said battery or alternator .

    But ASC & ABS light as well , that's interesting and has thrown me .

    Guess first thing is to test the battery and alternator , check the belt . If they're OK then

    start looking for smthg else .
