Since driving to Gaydon and back slight knock on front drivers side has got worst and car just doesn't feel right, suspect worn wishbone, bush or ball joint. Thinking of changing the lot inc drop links and anti roll bar bushes whilst at it, has any one done this and upgraded to E30 set up, HD Meyle or polly bushes and if so any improvements over the standard set up.

Looks like new wheels will have to wait :(

In next couple months I'll be putting poly bushes on my wishbone control arms on my e36,as fed up of changing bushes every flippin year, and they need doin again !! I'll also be putting new drop links in

Are the hd meyel uprated wishbones?? been told one of the main causes is aftermarket rims no sure if this is right tho? Any1 no if the cross brace under the car connecting the plastic tray does much?? (e46) powerflex make a big differnce iv had them on other cars but wishbones and bushes were never an issue!!

Dave, if you are changing bushes every year or so may be a good investment yo go down the poly bush route. Neil, the Meyle HD are updated, solid ball joint and don't work out much more than premium GSF or euro car part ones may be even cheaper in the long run. Mine came with the cross brace as standard, but from what I have read it is a common upgrade on e36 coupes and does improve the handling of the car and thanks for the feedback on the bushes

Good stuff cheers!! im due for new bushes as its an advisory from last year so lookin for the best option!! cheers!
