Hi All,

I have a 2006 X5 with an after market bluetooth kit and iPod dock connected.

Both work fine but the TV function always displays "muted" and there is no sound on the TV.

I can't find any way to mute or unmute the TV in the owners book.

Is there a way to do this?

Could it be a dodgy connection on either the bluetooth kit or the iPod dock?

If so how do I get the head unit out to check the wiring?

Many thanks in advance.

Ian

should be in the menu settings, on my 728, admittedly older version when turn to TV, i see settings and ther is somewhere in there the mute on/ off cant quite remember where exact but have seen the mute on / off somewhere in the settings

+1

Be aware that the "Parrot" may be incorrectly wired... Double check that too, as it maybe constantly "accepting", causing the OEM system to "Mute"...

Just a thought ;)
