Hi all.. I'm looking for some background information on my car.

Parkers tells me that the Dakar Editions are turbo'd? However, my air filter goes straight to the intake manifold? I have also searched online as to how many were ever made but I keep coming across different answers. Some say 300, 500 and 200. Any information would be great or even if someone could point me in the right direction :)

    The E36 compact is not factory turbo'd (Tds being the exception). Dakar is just the colour. There are many BMWs in the Dakar yellow over the world so I don't think it's particularly rare and there are quite a few M3's rocking dakar yellow
