Hi all I'm after some help if poss

The stereo in my 323i se e46 2000 is not playing CDs from the changer in the boot

The changer slides the individual trays in but when I change format to cd it states no disc and the numbers just change the radio station !! The stereo is the business system model .

Has anyone had this problem and is there an easy fix ?

Also I have an iPhone 4 s and would like to integrate into stereo system as I use Spotify for my sounds any ideas on kits ?

Whilst we are on the topic of CD changers, I have a JVC 12 disc changer in my boot.. Are these standard? Or would anyone like it as I don't use it?!

sounds like the changer is not connected to the stereo maybe a break in the cable or simply come off at either the stereo end or the changer end, also best place to look for kits is the good ole E Bay

The CD changers are quite prone to failing apparently, although I've never had any issues with any I've had.

If you know anyone else with a BMW with changer try swapping them to test, at least then you'll know if it's a broken or unplugged cable or a faulty unit

I binned my cd canger off cos it stopped working,plus it wouldnt connect to my new head unit !!

in my old 318 the changer packed up for apperant reason it seemed , but come think of it dont know about the one i got now cos i changed the head unit as soon as i got it so dont know if it works or not lol , but prob most likely a disconnected plug or break in the cable
