Hi, I have a 520i on a w plate, the light on my dash keeps saying the boot is open when its not I have looked for a sensor but can't see one, is this something I can fix or is it a new lock ?

    Open the boot,on the right hand side open up the wiring loom and iĺ bet a few of the wires have snapped,re join job done

    or your sensor might be out of line, i had the same problem, but my boot catch just needed adjustment which my local body shop took care of
