Both keys for my 2002 X5 have lost their charge. Have tried to recharge both using them on "long drives" as advised in handbook. has anyone got a solution please?

Change the batteries !

Rechargeables only have a 7yr lifespan...

Thanks Dabsy, didn't know you could....is it easy?

It's fiddly if the battery is the soldered type but do-able if you have a solder iron !!

... And as Christian says, get the job posted in "How To..." section. ;)

Nice to hear from you both....Will start the job tomorrow and have my camera to hand so that I can post the results, even if its "X" rated. Cheers
