Can anyone beat my ten years?

Normally only keep cars 3 years or less as I do a lot of high mileage. :D

Longest cars ive owned are

MKII Astra GTE 16v - 8years

BMW 323ci - 5years

the rest have come and gone within a couple years

i has an escort for about a year.a celica for about 4 years and my beemer since may last year.i hope to change it this year when i come in to some money though

they were great fun, excellent car at the time, shame from footwells and archs rotted quicker than a apple left in sunlight

longest i've kept any of my cars is my mk3 golf gti i had for 6yrs. i've had a reno 19 16v chamade, another mk3 gti, a nissan 300zx, an escort estate (si), a lwb transit, a mk1 xr2 and a mk1 supersport, all been and gone quite quickly. but the next longest i had a car for is 3yrs with my leon cupra. :blink:

woh, i've just realised how many stinkers i've had in my time, but i have seen the light and now enjoying my m3 :D

helllll yeah, i love my m3 to bits, and when it goes i'll be getting another bimmer. ;)

Hey, Just joined this group. I bought my 1997 Z3 in 2000 and still have and drive it. It is the car I use the most for the work commute. Just bought a 2008 750Li to keep it company :)

I never had a car longer than the tax running out cant bring myself to pay that much money for a little bit of round paper until I got the X5 now it all seams worth it :-) had it 15 months now

Went for 20 years changing every 12 months, now tend to keep em for 2-3 years, must be getting old. Shortest was in 1996, had a '93 K Nissan 300zx totally loved it but only kept her for 5 months. 9 points and £400 a month in petrol (err 15 years ago) and she was traded in.

BMW - Since October :D

I have been driving for 20 years now and have owned over 60 cars, so my guess would be ...........not very long....LOL
