Passenger Wing Mirror Not Folding

had a niggle with the X5 since ive bought it. pressing the buttom to fold the mirrors but my passenger side does nothing. when putting the car in reverse the mirror glass dips as it should but theres no folding to it.

anyone had this before? anything i should check? will this be expensive to sort out?

hi mate you can stop the dipping by moving the mirror selector switch to the other side if you dont like it the mirrors will not fold if car is moving but will come back out if car is moving slow if its broken there not cheap second hand on flebay they are a couple of hundred quid

Maybe pop the glass out carefully and check the internals :blink: :unsure:

Hahaha... The easiest way is tilt the mirror right down then pop it out with a wooden spatula (or similar) from the top-centre of the glass :rolleyes:

If your gonna start levering mirrors out I suggest you look here first :) some have a little latch that you move to one side to unlock the mirror
