Today. My fuel gauge read 14 miles i forgot to pick up the wallet. So i took the mrs to work drove back and then went to the gym. It then read 4 miles. I turned out of the gym and after 100 metres read ---- (OH NO!!!) i drove approx 2-3 miles to my cheapest diesel station on ---- fuel. Anyone else played fuel gauge chicken and won? If so how many miles and as a rule of thumb how many miles do you get after the readout says 0 do you get? I know i shouldnt get that far in the first place. Good info to know i guess.

mate of mines astra vxr read 0 20 miles from home once. We still made it home no probs lol

Don't be to brave, although I ONCE done 18miles on --- in 320 TD. besides sucks loads of Sh*t up from the bottom of tank. I fill up on light as a rule but we probably got 40miles or so left on zilch who knows?

My 320d, its goes 0000 then ...... And I can still push it another 50 miles. :-)

I'm pretty sure you should have about 35ish miles left. I used to work for a hire car company and it is about right. (in most cases dep on how heavy a foot you got) ;)
