ive come to find the crank pulley has failed.

ive orded a new pulley £170 deliverd ...

is there a guide avalible or has any one changed one?

from what i read the crank bolts x4 are very tight?

looking at it it looks like the viscous fan would need to be removed as it sits in front of the pulley?

what advice can any one give?

i plan as always to do this on my driveway with jack and axle stands.

would any one recommend what else they would change after this?

ive removed the swerl flaps, changed the oil breather, full service, replaced the diff bush and polybushed the whole car and fitted coilovers, made a 3" turbo back exhaust system and fitted a K&N filter.

i plan......

solid flywheel to loose the dmf

uprate the clutch

remap to 300bhp

lsd - m3 or birds any other options?

i brought this car with no history and hav no idear if the turbo has been replaced or is still factory fit.its done 155k

thanks in advance for any help or advice

Is it NOT a single bolt located with a woodruff key? Are you actually asking about the crank pulley?

As for re-map > Do other mods first and then re-map but be very careful with the diesel unit as it does have limitations power-wise!
