hi folks, i am hoping that with the knowlegde out there that someone might be able to help. i have recsently bought a 2001 x5 and decided to update the sat nav and now the whole system has stopped working. i have tried putting in the orginal disc but as i said even the option has disappeared from the screen.

    When you put the new upgrade disc in did it read incorrect disc inserted I had this and had to re insert original a couple of times before it recognised the original

    If you have NO options on the screen then it needs a hard reset, just like a fukkin PC... Right ball-ache !!!

    Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you it takes five mins two DVDs mine worked first time and not missed a beat
