Sat Nav Has Gone Helppp!!!

hi folks, i am hoping that with the knowlegde out there that someone might be able to help. i have recsently bought a 2001 x5 and decided to update the sat nav and now the whole system has stopped working. i have tried putting in the orginal disc but as i said even the option has disappeared from the screen.

Check the light is on on the disc player in boot

When you put the new upgrade disc in did it read incorrect disc inserted I had this and had to re insert original a couple of times before it recognised the original

Did you do a system update I got my 2011 disc For £39.00 with speed cameras this is [email protected] his phone number is 07904 249 404 mine works mint.

How involved is a system update mate

If you have NO options on the screen then it needs a hard reset, just like a fukkin PC... Right ball-ache !!!

Mines working fine now just needs updating so I'm not driving on fields and rivers on the screen :-)
