Hi

i have BMW x1 f48 2018

in cold weather up to 10 deq

two or three minutes after open the door of the car a noise appears 

does not matter if engine is on or still off the noise appears for 10 or 20 seconds and disappears 

I am attaching a recording to give you an idea what noise I mean.

    Sorry, I can’t open any files… but mine will ding if the temperature is below 5’ as a warning of ice. 
     

     

     Maybe it’s set to 10’ in yours?? just a thought
